My participation is completely voluntary and is not required.
I am REQUIRED to participate in all fundraising activities, meetings and the preparation of the workshops for the EEI
If you are accepted, after the first meeting there will be a contract accepting all volunteer repsonsibilities.
I bear full legal and financial responsibility for myself, including responsibility for all indebtedness or other legal obligations incurred by me while in the EEI, that was not stated in my benefits package.
Children Beyond Our Borders, Inc and Partner Organization reserves the right to require my withdrawal from the EEI, if it is determined that my continuation would be detrimental to myself, to others, or to the organization. Return ticket and any other expenses due to such involuntary withdrawal are to be defrayed by me.
It is my responsibility to make sure I am allowed to travel to Colombia. I have checked and found the procedures to obtaining a VISA. This expense is NOT included in trip price. Note: United States Citizens DO NOT need a Visa.
My presence in another country exposes me to risks of physical and emotional harm that I may not be exposed to on the University campus.
As a participant I will be subject to the laws of the destination countries. Children Beyond Our Borders, Inc and Partner Organization is neither the only nor the best source of information regarding safety conditions abroad.
It is my responsibility to check the latest U.S. State Department assessment of the travel risks involved in the areas where we will be traveling and to decide whether or not I will participate in the service trip.
My participation will be based primarily on work, and any leisure activity will be my full responsibility. Children Beyond Our Borders, Inc and Partner Organization reserves the right to determine free time based on the accomplishment of our mission.
