About
Microincisional sclerotherapy is effective for cosmetic red or purple feathery, fine telangiectasias, as well as up to 3mm blue/green reticular veins. This CME-approved instructional course will teach the principles and techniques that the clinician will need for successful cosmetic sclerotherapy treatments. Participants will receive a comprehensive course manual, pearls sheets and quick reference guides, a certificate of course completion, and 8.5 CME/CE credits.

All participants must register for the course and receive a written confirmation from Aesthetic Advancements in order to attend. In states where scope of practice laws allow for an individual with less than an R.N. degree to administer injectable medical aesthetic products, this individual may attend the program along with their Medical Director (i.e. MD, DO, PA, and in some states NP or PA). The Medical director will be required to pay a nominal auditing fee, and will be permitted to report for educational hours for the didactic portion of the program. We do not allow "observers" to attend. If you do not receive a written confirmation upon registration please contact Brooke Roebuck at (770) 378-0079. Confirmations can take up to 72 hours to be processed.
Course Instructions
- You will need to provide ONE Practice Patient/Model (model instructions provided upon confirmation)
- Diagnostic equipment will be provided for the course (Veinlight, hand-held doppler)
- Asclera (Polidocanol 0.05%) will be provided to use during the hands-on
- Please note, we do not use hypertonic saline as an agent
Acceptance, Payment, and Cancelation Information
Full payment is required in order to secure your spot in the course. Full payment must be received by AAI no later than 14 days prior to scheduled course. If you have to cancel 14 days prior to the start date of your training, there is a non–refundable $150 administrative fee. Cancelations less than 14 days or "no shows" will not qualify for a refund. Online registration is subject to terms and availability and does not guarantee acceptance into the course. Your registration is not finalized and accepted until you receive the official confirmation PDF document from our staff. Information for Out of State Participants: Aesthetic Advancements Institute, hereinafter referred to as AAI, welcomes the attendance of all licensed Clinicians at their instructional programs. AAI acknowledges that some Clinicians may choose to attend a program located outside their licensing state. In some cases, you may be required to provide hosting state medical board approval for out of state licensee participation. Failure of a Clinician to obtain the necessary approval and proof from the medial board of the hosting state will result in the immediate withdrawal by AAI of the Clinician’s application. A full refund for any deposits received will be issued or applied to a future program being held in the Clinician's state of licensure.
