SW Awards - JR Player of the Year (Female)

Application: Junior Player of the Year (FEMALE)

The USTA Southwest Section honors one junior female player each year for outstanding accomplishment throughout the year.
PURPOSE: This award is presented to the female player who has demonstrated significant achievement throughout the year (quality Section/national ranking, improvement, overcoming adversity).

CRITERIA: Among the criteria to be considered when nominating:

1) Award should be based primarily on performance and results bringing recognition and prestige to the USTA Southwest Section. 2) Exceptional ranking and achievement at the national or sectional level.
3) Improved ranking through the years.
4) Overcoming adversity to achieve in tennis.
5) Poor sportsmanship can be used for exclusion from the award…conversely, good sportsmanship would be one of many other considerations contributing to the selection of this award.
