    (Formerly called "Allocation of Handicap Strokes")

    Please use this form to communicate to the Carolinas Golf Association what you would like the Stroke Index values to be for your course.

    • Use a separate form to request allocations for EACH course.
      One course per form.

  • Choose ONLY ONE of the following THREE options:

     

    Option 1 - Set a separate stroke index for ALL men's tees and another to be used for ALL womens's tees.
    Note: This is the USGA's recommended method under the new World Handicapping System.

    Option 2 - Set a single Stroke Index for ALL tees for BOTH genders.

    Option 3 - Set a unique Stroke Index for EACH individual tee and EACH gender

  • Option 1 - One Allocation for ALL tees for each Gender:
    This is the USGA's recommended method for stroke index allocations.

  • IMPORTANT

    Please note also that the USGA recommendations for determining Stroke Index Allocations have changed with the introduction of the WHS. Where it was previously based upon an analysis of hole-by-hole scores by golfers, the recommendation is now going to look at Course Rating data as a starting point. The CGA will be providing the recommended allocations to clubs, when the software is available. Note that this is recommended, but not required. Your club may continue to use your current allocations as entered above, if desired.
