As a volunteer rescue group, we are dependent upon the information sending facilities relay to us regarding sizes, temperaments, etc. The very nature of rescue creates some risk for those who participate. Even a good-natured dog may find it stressful to be passed from stranger to stranger and being with unfamiliar dogs. As consequence the pet(s) may act in uncharacteristic ways.

I understand that volunteering/fostering is at my own risk. I hereby forever release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Moore's Rescue Ranch from all claims, demands, actions, causes of action or liability of any kind whatsoever arising as a result of doing volunteer work with Moore's Rescue Ranch. I further agree that I will not make any claim against, sue, attach the property of, or prosecute Moore's Rescue Ranch (or any of its board members/volunteers) for any death, personal injury or property damage, whatever the cause or place of event giving rise to the claim, which I may suffer or sustain as a result of or in connection with my participation as a volunteer.

I further understand that the behavior of domestic animals is sometimes unpredictable and that some domestic animals are capable of inflicting serious personal injury or death, as well as extensive property damage. Knowing the risks of handling domestic animals, nevertheless, I hereby agree to assume those risks and to release, indemnify and hold harmless Moore's Rescue Ranch and its members/volunteers who might otherwise be liable to me or my heirs or assigns for damages. My participation with Moore's Rescue Ranch is strictly on a voluntary basis, therefore no insurance against bodily harm is provided for me.

I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS AN INDEMNITY, WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT BETWEEN MOORE'S RESCUE RANCH AND ME. AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
