REQUIREMENTS

Submit via a high resolution photo of your original artwork, at least 8x8 or larger, or email to rshollenbarger@comcast.net
Emailed submissions must also have a signed and completed copy of this form attached.
Mailed submissions must have a signed and completed copy of this form attached.
If your original art is small, please describe the size, and whether there will be problems photographing it in high-resolution.
Photographs will not be returned and will be considered the property of the Lavender in the Village Board. Artist understands that his or her art will not be the only piece on display at the fest.
Poster entries that are submitted via USPS mail must be received by the deadline at the address specified on the entry form. Entries cannot be delivered by hand to this location.
Submissions that are ready by the deadline but have not been mailed may be hand-delivered but must be coordinated. Phone Kay Shollenbarger at 505-720-1034 to make arrangements no later than the submission deadline.
Original art should be available for display during the fest, as well as any artist literature you would like to provide, but original poster art will remain your property.
The Lavender in the Village Board retains the right to sell posters featuring the winning poster art.
Artist will be strongly encouraged to support Lavender in the Village (a 501C3) by donating a piece of original work to the festival, taking place July 20 & 21, 2019, to be sold or auctioned.
Artist agrees to release all rights to poster printing and reproduction.
Entrants may submit up to THREE works for each artist.
There is no fee for entry to the poster contest.
Artist will be given 4 entry tickets to the festival.
Winning artist will be offered 50% off the standard 10’ x 10’ booth fee (Normally $300) should they like a booth at the festival

Poster winner will be determined by the Lavender in the Village Board and will be announced on the website within two weeks of the deadline.
