Greetings! We are excited to announce our Sixth Missions Auction Fundraiser, to be held the evening of Friday, March 29, 2019 at Evergreen Bible Church. We are looking for partner organizations that are willing to donate items we could auction off on that night in a silent auction.
Would you consider donating goods or services to our auction?
The success of our previous auctions, which came about through many generous donations, has allowed us to send several mission teams from EBC to various places in the world. We have sent teams to serve people in Peru, The Philippines, Senegal, Canada, and also right here in Vancouver. The funds raised at this year’s auction will help enable future service trips, as well as a plan this summer for a youth trip of 11 youth and 4 adult team members to travel to Peru. They will help two of our missionary families who live there with some local mission opportunities, including serving alongside some of the Peruvian youth who live in an orphanage there.
Our hope in sending teams of servants all over the globe is to be genuinely helpful to the people we serve, as well as to develop the character and heart-attitudes of the people who are being sent to serve. These trips often have a profound impact on the lives of the people who participate, developing in them a heart and love for serving others as a lifestyle. This pays great dividends in their families, among their friends, and in our own community.
If you choose to donate, your name or business will appear in print alongside your donated item in our auction catalog, and you will be acknowledged as the contributor on your silent auction item. You will be mailed a charitable contribution receipt for the item you give. If you decide to donate, we need to receive your donation by Friday, March 22, in order to include it in our published catalog.
Thank you for considering a donation to our Auction. It is our hope that the donations we receive will translate into a lasting impact on the teens and adults who will be serving others, and also on those who we are able to serve.
