Camp Fire believes that every child should have the opportunity to experience camp and find their spark. Camps provide opportunities for educational and emotional growth, environmental awareness, leadership, exposure to healthy lifestyles, community integration, and respect for diveristy.
The ability to afford camp can often create a financial strain on families. With this in mind, Camp Fire works to provide financial aid to families to help alleviate the financial burden. Assistance is funded by Camp Fire Inland Northwest's generous donors and the Henry Day Neewahlu Trust (HDNT). Our donors make it possible for any family who meets the funding criteria to attend either of our camps. The HDNT was created to promote camping experiences or camp-related facilities or activities, benefiting the children of North Idaho.
Assistance is determined by the information provided. Financial assistance will help only with the basic camp fee for one session (no special activity fees). If awarded, participant will usually be responsible for half the basic camp fee. Applications are NOT complete without proof of income.
One submission per camper is required. This is NOT a camp registration and does NOT confirm a reservation at camp. If you would like to apply for financial assistance for multiple weeks of camp, please call our office after submitting this application.
