All students enrolled in Fall classes will defer their commencement ceremony to the following spring.

Undergraduate students who will not complete their degree requirements by May 2024 may be eligible to walk in the commencement ceremony under the following circumstances:

Undergraduate Students must meet the following criteria to participate in Commencement:

Undergraduate students who have a maximum of two remaining summer 2024 course(s). Students must be registered for the two summer course(s) by April 4th.

Graduate Students:

The University recognizes that certain graduate programs require their students to complete their degree requirements in the summer following the spring commencement ceremony. With that requirement in place the University will afford those graduate students the privilege to participate in the commencement ceremony without completing degree requirements.

For all other graduate programs, faculty reserves the right to require degree completion for participation in the commencement ceremony. Rare exceptions to participate in the spring commencement ceremony may be made on a case by case basis. Permission to participate is required from the Graduate Program Director and the Office of the Registrar.
