Skid Row is a district in Downtown Los Angeles that has the greatest concentration of individuals who are experiencing homelessness in the city of Los Angeles. Participants will tour the neighborhood as well as permanent supportive housing buildings run by Skid Row Housing Trust.
This tour will let participants see the overwhelming issue of homelessness in Los Angeles County, as well as local organizations’ innovative work to help people move off the streets and into homes of their own. 100% of the fees will be donated to Skid Row Housing Trust. There will be a few tours throughout the day.
The Skid Row Housing Trust Walking Tour is an official pre-conference of the National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs. Purchasing a Skid Row Housing Tour ticket does not guarantee a space at the National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs conference.
