As you saw in the video, grit has seven characteristics.
1. Grit is passion and perseverance for long-term goals. Grit is sticking with your goals, not just for the week, not just for the month, but for the years to come.
What can you do to have more passion and perserverance for your goals?
Here are some ideas:
- Write down your goals and place them where you will see them each day.
- Examine your reasons to go for these goals. Why do you want to reach them?
- Are there any other goals that are more important to you?
- How will you know you are making progress toward these goals? When can you make this happen?
- What one thing can you do today or this week that will take you one small step closer to your goals?
- What makes you passionate about these goals?
- What obstacles are you hitting? How can you handle these obstacles?
- What will it be like when you finally reach these goals?
