  • In this role, you will answer and direct phone calls, take information from prospective families inquiring about a room, properly sign-in visitors and meal donors, log-in and process donations, assist with mailings, facilitate room checks and check-outs, perform House tours and more.

As an Administrative/Family Services Volunteer, you should commit to a regular and consistent schedule, preferably on a weekly basis.

  • Family common rooms are the heart of our home! This is the position for you if you want to greet guests when they enter the dining room or kitchen, answer questions regarding the location of items in these areas, take inventory of groceries in our pantry and replenish items, prepare lunch or dinner as needed, and perform general housekeeping duties.

Heart-of-the-Home Volunteers may commit to a weekly shift or volunteer periodically.

  • Volunteers are needed to help with the planning and staging of several special events which raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida. From being a committee member, to assisting with various tasks leading up to the event, to helping on the actual day, volunteers have a wide variety of roles from which to choose. Being a Special Events Volunteer is a great way to get involved for an individual or a group.

  • Our Family Room provides a soothing place of comfort, care and compassion within the walls of the hospital, where families can rest, retreat and relax while being just steps away from their sick child at Studer Family Children's Hospital. This is an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the world of family-centred care, to gain a deeper understanding of the issues faced by families with a sick child, and to know at the end of each shift that you have made a difference in the lives of our families.
