Pray Strong Fund in Memory of Blaine Thomas Duhon

Pray Strong Fund in Memory of Blaine Thomas Duhon, a fund at the Community Foundation of Acadiana, aims to strengthen the spirituality of all; especially the young. The founders hope to share their understanding of the power of prayer and encourage praying for the sick, the injured and the dying, thus instilling an appreciation for life, and the importance of the acceptance of God's will.

The Fund will promote Christian education, making better servants of God, by making grants to the feeder schools of St. Thomas More and Teurlings Catholic in Lafayette, Louisiana, for tuition assistance of children with disabilities. Additionally, the fund will support St. Thomas More High School's Options Program for mentally and physically challenged students, as well as similar programs offered in the area.
