I am looking for a Timing assistant that will be able to prepare timing for an autocross race weekend, setup timing for an event, support timing personnel & computer side of registration during an event and then tear down and be responsible for all the timing related equipment.
The person would need to be confident enough to do this without the access of the current Chief of Timing - Tim Steck.
There is a possibility that this person could become Chief of Timing by the 2019 or 2020 season. This would include additional duties to be performed post the event weekend not listed in the current duties.
Please be very honest with your answers.
If the question has a scale of 1 to 10, 1 is the lowest rating with 10 being an expert on the subject. If you answer 1 then you basically can spell the word and can't do much more than that. If you say 10 you could write a book on the subject.
On the Yes or No questions only answer "Yes" if you can do it 100% of the time, if you can do it most of the time please answer "No".
In the comment section, please explain why you answered "No" on any question and explain your rating on any question that you feel it is necessary.
