This is a two part workshop. The first half of the day, from 9-12, we will learn what trauma teaches us about RESILIENCE, how we became a disconnected society, explore the implications of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) study and the science behind trauma and resilience.
In the second half of the day, from 1-4, we will work together to broaden and deepen a set of skills for engaging with trauma impacted people in a way that can transform the damage of trauma into hope and strength. This is a hands-on, interactive effort that will produce a tool kit you will take with you wherever you go.
The workshop will take place at the old Lewisville Middle School: 406 NW 5th Ave., Building B, Battle Ground, WA. 98604. This campus is NW of Battle Ground High School, North of Safeway and the baseball fields.
Your participation is valuable to us and our community. If the cost of the workshop is an obstacle for you, please email connect@connectbg.org and we will provide you with a coupon code.
