The Sixth Annual Sweet Tea Event will be held in Historic Downtown Summerville during Third Thursday on Thursday, September 21st, 4-9:00pm. The event will offer attendees a chance to explor booths containing antiques, collectables, vintage items, crafts, and artisans offerings while sipping sweet tea and listening to bluegrass music.
Unlike previous years, this year's festival will not offer a commemorative mug. Instead, attendees will purchase a wristband that will allow them to sample all of the competition teas. They will be instructed to bring their own mug/cup. Children's souvenir cups will still be available for purchase while supplies last.
Each food vendor will also be a Sweet Tea Stop. Attendees that purchase wristbands/mugs/kids cups will also be given a voting form. They will vote for their favorite tea and return the ballot to the voting booth.
Sweet Tea Stop information:
Each Stop will receive a unique Sweet Tea Stop number. This will be displayed at your booth.
Each Stop will be included in the official Sweet Tea Festival Map
Official Sweet Tea Stops will be part of the People's Choice and Judges Choice for the best tea at the 2017 Sweet Tea Festival.
Winners will be announced prior to 9pm at the festival.
Application is for one tea only. If you would like to enter two or more teas in the contest then an additional application/fee is required.
Sweet Tea Stops must provide a minimum of 10 gallons of their specific tea.
The cost for participation is:
DREAM Community partner: $125 per space
Non-DREAM Community Partner: $175 per space
