Summer Internship Application

The programs will immerse you in news journalism for 8 weeks with a paid internship. The programs provide a wealth of real-world experience as to how the industry works and what life is like as a professional journalist. We offer additional training and mentoring to help each student get the most out of the program.

Programs are funded by the the MDDC Press Foundation, Delaware Community Foundation and other philanthropic organizations.

Attach three - five examples of your news writing and/or 5+ photographs

Must be PDF(s) of articles that have been published that contain your byline
(or a letter from the editor confirming that this is your work) or work submitted for
credit in college news writing course (specify the course, the instructor, and where
and the course was taken).

Photojournalism applicants do not need to submit writing samples unless they wish to.
They should submit at least five photographs made on a newspaper or classroom
assignment.
