Volunteer Opportunity Descriptions

Weekly Wednesday Tutoring:

This event takes place on a weekly basis and is a semester commitment from time of sign-up to April 10, 2019. Tutoring begins on January 30th for the Spring 2019 semester. Volunteers act as one-on-one tutors with the children to encourage them with homework completion and provide an empowering environment. Volunteer time includes time spent driving, set-up, tutoring time and clean-up.

Monthly Workshops:

These events take place monthly on Saturdays where we conduct an education workshop for the children that stimulate self-esteem, interest, curiosity and innovation. Each month sign-up is independent of one another. Volunteer time includes set-up, activity time with children and clean-up.
