    Triunfadores CPP Volunteer Application

  • The Triunfadores College Prep Program (CPP) strives to support K-12 students in school and through their journey to attend college. As a volunteer, you will be trained to tutor, mentor, and provide guidance to students so they may succeed academically and reach their goals.

To learn more about the program, please read the Program Description.

    Weekly Sessions:

    Location: Virtually via Zoom

    Date/Time: Tuesdays, 5:45 PM - 7:30 PM

This is a year-long commitment, meaning you will be volunteering throughout the fall and spring semesters. We will provide a more detailed calendar, with University of Florida and Alachua County Public School holidays listed as non-tutoring dates. The tentative last day of tutoring will be the final week of classes at the University of Florida (April 19th).

    Remote Volunteering Update:

For the Fall 2021/Spring 2022 semester, tutoring will take place virtually. Depending on how things progress, we may resume in-person tutoring at a later date, but this will be optional. If you are volunteering remotely because you are located outside the Alachua/Gainesville area, you will continue your tutoring sessions online, but local volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in face-to-face sessions once it is deemed safe to do so. The weekly commitment remains the same as volunteers are expected to connect with their student each week.
