The Woodberry Poetry Room (WPR) invites poets, artists, and scholars to apply for the 2017-2018 WPR Creative Fellowship. Past recipients of the fellowship have included Eileen Myles, Fanny Howe, and Erin Moure. Applicants are invited to propose creative projects that would benefit from the rich resources available at the Woodberry Poetry Room -- particularly its audio-video archive. In addition to writing and conducting research, the WPR Fellow would be expected to make a recording for the Poetry Room’s archive and/or to present a works-in-progress event in conjunction with the Poetry Room’s public programming season. Installations and multidisciplinary performances are welcome.
The WPR Fellow is expected to be in residence at Harvard University for at least 10 days (these do not need to be during consecutive weeks) during the period from October 2018 through April 2019.
