The Icelandic Film School is always open for applications. 1st term semester starts twice a year - in February and September.
All applications are reviewed to see if all important questions have been answered and what documents have been submitted. Each applicant’s educational background, work experience, and general life experience will be examined by our admissions committee to determine whether the course of study at the Icelandic Film School is suitable for the applicant in question. At this stage, it is decided whether or not the applicant should be put forward for an interview.
Qualified applicants will be invited to an online interview.
The admissions committees consist of the Dean of the school, department heads, and industry professionals in the relevant field of study.
