All AMSA activities and events are organized and coordinated by students who have been elected on the executive board. The officer’s election will take place on April, for 2015-2016 academic year. Students who run for AMSA leadership position are the heart of this organization. Only Strongest candidate will win the election.
If you are interested to run for AMSA officer’s position for 2015-2016, please fill out this application ONLY IF you meet all of the following requirements:
1. You must be GSU student for Spring 2016-2017 academic year (both Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 for April election)
2. You must be an active member (meaning that you have at least 10 or more volunteer points by the election day)
3. You must be a National AMSA Member through www.AMSA.org
4. You shall following AMSA at GSU on Facebook, Twitter and orgsync.
Note: For president position you must have had prior leadership experience in the AMSA at GSU executive board for a year.

Quick Job Description:
- President: overlook other officers in their jobs, club activities, and budgeting. Communicating with club advisors, hosting the meetings, finding speakers, and help other officers as needed.
- Vice-president: help and act as the president in his/her absence, and find speakers for meetings.
- Treasurer: in charge of maintaining club budget and member dues.
- Secretary: act as the communication source of Amsa.
- Co-volunteer Coordinator: find volunteer events for the year and be present at the event
- Co-conference coordinator: preparing rooms for the meetings, and in charge of conferences, tours, and events that are not volunteer related.
- Public Relation: take pictures at meetings and events and promote amsa on campus.
