  • JURISDICTION

  • The jurisdiction of the Appeals Tribunal is set out in section 9.1 of the the CDSFA Judiciary and Disciplinary Regulations (Regulations). The Appeals Tribunal will only hear a matter in the following circumstances:

    (a)    An appeal of a decision made by the DT pursuant to section 8.2 of the Regulations (charges of Misconduct and Disrepute);

    (b)    An appeal of a decision made by the DT pursuant to section 8.3 of the Regulations (Grievances) subject to section 9.4 of the Regulations; and

    (c)    An appeal of a decision made by the DT pursuant to section 8.4 of the Regulations (Referral from the JC).

    Further, the Participant must satisfy one or more grounds of appeal set out in section 9.2 of the Regulations.

    1.      Please submit this form  within 7 working days of the issuance of the decision of the DT.

    2.      Please lodge a fee of $550 together with this Form. Payment can be made by cheque or direct debit into CDSFA’s bank account. Bank: Westpac Bank, Account Name: CDSFA Inc, BSB: 032082, Account Number: 113442. Please file receipt of payment into this account with the Tribunal Administrator at trent@footballcanterbury.com.au .

    3.      Participants should read and consider sections 8, 9 and 12 of the Regulations prior to submitting this Notice to the CDSFA.

    4.      If the CDSFA does not receive a properly completed Notice by the time specified in paragraph 1 together with the $550 fee, you are deemed to have waived your right to appeal the decision of the DT.

    5.      Capitalised words used in this document are defined in the Regulations.
