Volunteer Availability

We require 4 hours per week - either 1 4-hour shift or 2 2-hour shifts, which will be the same each week. (non-rotating).

Lost Dogs Minnesota volunteer shifts do require your full attention and attendance for the entire shift focusing on the LDMN Facebook page. This CANNOT be done while working at a job or home based business. Unfortunately the softwares and websites we use don't work on mobile phones or tablets either. Will this work for you?*

How much computer experience do you have? Please list all the computer skills you possess. Example - typing/keyboarding, navigating between browser windows and tabs, copying and pasting URLs, bookmarking tabs, software use, email, etc. We do everything virtual, so all volunteer jobs involve computer work. *
How much Facebook experience do you have? Please list all the Facebook features you know how to use on the desktop version of Facebook. Example - replying to a comment, deleting a post or a comment, making a new post, etc. We are based in Facebook, so all volunteer work is done in Facebook. *
Do you have Microsoft Office (or a similar program)? We do most of our training via PowerPoint or Word, so this is required. (There is a free version online if needed.):*

In order for us to learn more about the proficiency level of your computer and your Facebook skills, there is a 30-minute interview prior to training. Someone will be in contact with you shortly. Can you be available for the interview via phone or video conference?

Lost Dogs Minnesota (LDMN) Facebook Page is NOT a rescue page, nor are we affiliated with any rescue or rescuing any of the dogs on our page. The LDMN FB page does not cross post dogs needing rescue, currently in rescue, dogs about to be put to sleep, dogs in need, or to find homes for dogs in shelters or humane societies etc. We are STRICTLY a page for Lost, or Found dogs. If you are involved in a rescue organization you CANNOT use this page for cross-posting your rescue dogs, nor use this page in any way to facilitate rescue in the LDMN name.
