Tennis is a life sport that can impact all ages and many facets of life. The Georgia Tennis Foundation (GTF) has been dedicated to making tennis accessible and fun for everyone in Georgia for over 30 years.
• Joe Dorn First Serve (JDFS) -- Introduces tennis thousands of at-risk children each year through summer and after school programs. JDFS has now served over 101,000 participants at community centers, schools and through other partner organizations like Agape, Girls Inc., AYTEF, Washington Park and YMCA’s throughout Georgia.
• Ned Neely Second Serve (NNSS) – Provides financial aid to players from Georgia who are at the beginning stages of the ATP or WTA tour and whose conduct and reputations reflect the positive characteristics. NNSS also assists the families of emerging junior and college players with tournament travel expenses.
• Inducted Larry Schnall and Ham Magill into the Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame at the BB&T Atlanta Open and continued preserving history at the Sessions Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame and Museum.
• Hosted the 16th annual Atlanta Circle Cup at the Washington Park Tennis Center with over 150 guests on June 14, 2017 and the 2nd annual Tennis Day in Georgia on October 3, 2017 with the Governor’s Office.
