  • Host your group's next party aboard the USS Hornet Museum and make it an experience they'll never forget! Our Boarding Party packages come with everything you need for a memorable celebration. All you need is the guest list!

     

    *Youth birthday options are for kids turning 7 years or older*

  • Officer's Boarding Party Package:

    $425 for members, $475 for non-members

    Adult Party/Team Party:

    Up to 40 guests (+ $10 for each additional guest)

     

    Saturdays or Sundays 11:00 - 2:00 PM (unless otherwise requested and available)

     

    Includes:

    * Private use of our Chief Petty Officers' Lounge room or similar space as a private party space for 1 hour

    * Paper goods and utensils for serving food

    * A 1-hour guided tour of the ship's key spaces 

    * A ride on our Flight Simulator

    * After your party ends, General Admission access to our museum until it closes at 5:00 PM

     

    Captain's Boarding Party Package:

    $475 for members, $550 for non-members

    Adult Party/Team Party:

    Up to 50 guests (+ $10 for each additional guest)

    Children's Birthday party:

     

    Saturdays and Sundays 11:00 - 2:00 PM (unless otherwise requested and available)

     

    Includes:

    * Private use of our CPO Lounge room or similar space as a party space for 2 hours

    * Paper goods and utensils for serving food

    * Time with our Teaching Collection for a hands-on look at with uniforms, helmets, and other other artifacts from our museum's collection

    * A 1.5 hour private Docent guided tour of the ship's key spaces 

    * A ride on our Flight Simulator for all of your youth guests

    * A Party Announcement over our 1-MC System (the ship's loudspeaker system)

    * After your party ends, General Admission access to our museum until it closes at 5:00 PM

     

    ADMIRAL’S BOARDING PARTY PACKAGE:

    $550 for members, $600 for non-members

    Adult Party/Team Party:

    Up to 50 guests (+ $10 for each additional guest)

    Children's Birthday party:

     

    Saturdays and Sundays 11:00 - 2:00 PM (unless otherwise requested and available)

     

    Includes: 

    *Everything listed above in the Captain’s Boarding Party Package, Plus:

    *A Family Membership good for 2 adults and 4 youth that will give you free admission for the year, discounts on several programs, and a discount in our Ship's Store! (If you already have a membership, your current membership will either be upgraded or extended for an additional year.)

    Add-Ons:

    Food is available for purchase through us via a caterer OR you can bring your own. Please contact us for food prices if you are interested in ordering through us. You can also order Dog Tags as a souvenier for your Boarding Party!

     

    • How to Make Your Reservation 
    • 1) Fill in the Reservation Application below.

      2) Receive a confirmation email that includes a General Information Packet and an official Roster for you to fill out. You will also receive an invoice through PayPal for your total fees.

      2) Make your payment either through PayPal, by check, or by credit card (all of these methods will be described in the PayPal invoice).

      3) Fill out the official Roster that will be provided after you submit your application. Your Roster is due no later than 1 week before your scheduled event.

      4) Arrive at the day of your Boarding Party 30 minutes or so before your party is scheduled to set up your party space before your guests arrive.

      5) Payment is due 1 week before the event.
