• APPLICATION TO LEAD

    RECITATION SECTIONS

  • Your interest in leading a recitation section at PNWU is sincerely appreciated. At PNWU we strive daily to provide the very best academic offerings and enrichment to our students. As part of that offering, the University has chosen to make available recitation sessions to all students enrolled in a given course. Without the dedication of students to assist their near peers, we could not have a robust academic support program. Our intent is to connect you with students in a structured, organized, and timely manner.

To begin the application process please read, fill-out, and agree to the following premises of the PNWU Student Recitation Program. The Learning Skills Specialist will interview applicants to assess their interest in and aptitude for providing academic support in medical education. Course Directors may be asked to verify that applicants possess the content knowledge necessary to effectively lead recitations.

Note: You are committing to serve as a recitation leader for a full academic year, or an entire course, whichever is longer.

  • Below are three drop-down menus listing all academic courses. You may select up to three courses for which you would like to lead recitations. Please select your top choice first, your next choice second, etc.

  • NOTE: If you would like to apply to lead recitations in more than three courses, please contact Dr. Rica Amity, the Learning Skills Specialist, at ramity@pnwu.edu or 509-249-7844.
