Referee Entrance Course fee $65.00
This is a one off payment. It includes Law book and tuition. Here you will be briefed on the Laws of the Game.
Registration fee
$170.00 (if you are under 18 years of age as at January 01, 2014) OR
$180.00 (if you are 18 years of age or over as at January 01, 2014)
Fees payable to the referee association. Our association is one of very few associations who do not charge 10% levies on match fees you earn throughout the year. That is, you retain the whole match fee on the day. Incidentally, our association are one of the highest paid local referee associations in NSW.
Complete Uniform Kit $230.00
This is a one off payment for all your referee gear, excluding referee boots and a digital wrist watch. The kit includes short sleeve black shirt, short sleeve blue shirt, short sleeve yellow shirt, black shorts, polo shirt, black socks, tracksuit, spray jacket, bag, yellow and red cards, whistle, flags, note book, pen.
A note on cost:
Refereeing for one day $100.00 (Even more on a Sunday)
A whole day’s worth of match fees you are expected to earn would be at least $100.00. There is a greater need for referees on Sundays, so you will earn even more on that day. Depending on your age and ability, you could also earn more. Therefore, you could recover your costs in two weekends. Considering there are approximately 18 weekends of regular season football played, you have the ability to be well paid.
