  • Personal Information

  • Academic Information

  • If you are a freshman, you are welcome to apply! Please draw heavily from your high school academics including your high school GPA, involvement, and class rank.

  • Expectations

  • Allocations members are held to a high standard regarding weekly attendance for both Allocations Meetings and Office Hours. Allocations Meetings are conducted every Thursday starting at 8:30pm. A total of four excused absences from these meetings are permitted for the entirety of an allocations member's full year term. A total of five office hours must also be held each week as set by the allocations member at the beginning of each academic term.

Budgets are another time that has mandatory attendance. Spring budgets are typically conducted in April and are conducted over the course of three days, Thursday through Sunday. Fall budgets are typically conducted in October and take place over the course of one day during the weekend.

It is expected that you will be able to attend these meetings each week and give priority to the Allocations Committee over your involvement in other organizations. This includes things that have other mandatory meetings such as Pathfinders, Resident Assistants, Greek Life, etc.

Please outline below all activities that you are involved in that have mandatory meetings.

  • You may combine the following two things into one document or upload them separately:

    Resume

Please attach a resume detailing your involvement in the university and community (including academics and leadership positions, when applicable) as well as any work experience, internships, or other applicable information.

Essay Question (please answer both, 500 words max)

Describe your experience with SGB, specifically regarding the Allocations proces and how it connects to your skillset. If you do not have any experience with the Allocations process, explain how you think your skills learned from being in other organizations will carry over into being a good Allocations liaison.

If selected, you will be joining the committee in the middle of its term. What course of action do you plan on taking in order to get a full understanding of the Allocations Process with less time to familiarize yourself than the rest of the committee?
