Submitting Your Audition To Youtube
It's important that all uploaded videos to youtube are marked as "unlisted". Your video will only be watched by string camp faculty.
1. We want to keep this as simple as possible. Your video audition should include the following:
- two major scales: 1, 2, or 3 octaves, depending on your level of ability.
- not more than two minutes of a solo of your choice. Pick something that will show you at the best of your technical and musical abilities.
2. Please announce each part of your recorded audition clearly, ex. name of scale, title of solo, composer of solo, etc.
3. Again, if you do not wish your video to be watched by the general public, be sure to mark the video as "unlisted". Your video will only be viewed by a member of the string camp faculty.
