WEBINAR: Site-based Implementation of the Academies of Nashville
Tuesday, January 28th - 3pm EST
Since 2005, Metro Nashville Public Schools has implemented an academies model as a key high school improvement strategy. All 12 of the district's zoned high schools have been required to create wall-to-wall academies, some of which are career-themed and some of which have broader academic themes. There are both regional infrastructure to support the academies, and also specific site-based activities that help make the academies successful.
NC3T, in partnership with Drexel University Graduate School of Education, will provide a two-part webinar series on the Academies of Nashville, featuring presenters from Metro Nashville Public Schools. The first webinar will be held on January 28 at 3 pm EST, and will focus on site-based implementation of the academy model.
There is no cost to participate in this webinar; just register below so we can send you access information and a reminder prior to the event. If you have any questions, contact Brett Pawlowski at Brett@NC3T.com.
