  • Communications Committee Application (Step 2)

    Please answer all of the following questions.

  • AFSA’s 2013 communication committee is divided into four sub-committee teams of which are all under communication. The following are the committees, explanation and their respective expectations.

    Social Media Team – responsible for all social media accounts such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Vine and Instagram. The team is expected to post on a regular basis, post news and interaction/engaging posts for SAF students 

    AFSA Photography Team – responsible for all photography for AFSA-related events and in charge of planning the professional photoshoot that is to be held each term. Also responsible for distribution and uploading of photos on social media websites. (Personal camera, preferably DSLR required)

    Website Development/Administration Team – responsible for development of the new AFSA website which is currently in beta and fixing errors as well as development of special projects that arise. Also responsible for maintenance and beta testing. (Some basic knowledge of website management, HTML and or Wordpress required)

    General Communication and Contests Team – responsible for general communication such as postings on websites, gathering news for the e-newsletter and creating the newsletter. Also responsible for creating contests to increase interaction and engagement with SAF students. (Ex. Twitter contest, Like Contest etc.)

    You are required to choose one of the following sub-committees you would like to be a part of and answer one of the following question in the next part.

    If you are applying for photography, attach a sample of your photography work (2 pictures) and one of which must be a portrait photo (photo of people, self-portrait, candid, etc) and state what DSLR camera you have.
