Even now, several weeks into the program, I still don't care what you eat. But if I don't care what you eat, then what's the point of all this? Dear grasshopper, YOU tell ME what I care about. Give me at least 4 items describing what you should be doing every day to insure your success at permanent weight loss.

How's it been going with breakfast and lunch? Have you stuck to your food plan? What thoughts might threaten you to derail from your fruit breakfast and salad lunch?

Have you forsworn snackies between meals? If not, what reptile thoughts have interfered with your goal?

Now take a look at your food log for the last few weeks. Are there recurring cues (times, situations, etc.) in which you've eaten (or wanted to eat) something NOT on your food plan?

If so, what action can you take to increase the likelihood of sticking to your food plan? Can you make a behavioral change or a change in your environs? Do you need to practice more competing responses? Ask a friend (or stranger) for help?

Have you noticed your taste preferences changing? Please elaborate.

If you entered some reptile thoughts for the first two questions, put down a competing response for EACH permissive thought. If you have been sticking to your food plan, enter the thoughts and behaviors that have kept you on the straight and narrow.

Finally (it's over after this, I promise), why is it important to PLAN for dietary transgressions? Why not just leave it to providence to dictate your follies?
