Hi, this is Julie from The Original Pancake Kitchen. For the past few years we have been raising funds for The Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation by hosting races down Gilbert place on Shrove Tuesday.
This year we would like you to join us. It is simple. Form a team of four people and come down and join us and toss some pancakes for the children of Adelaide.
The entry fee for joining the race is a donation to The Women’s and Children’s Hospital. You will be required to run in a relay race approximately 20 metres each way with a frying pan, tossing a pancake three times in the process. It’s really great fun. Some of our regular race goers come dressed up in funny clothes.
We will have a band playing and other forms of entertainment to make it a really great day for you. We also have a special treat for the winners of the race (you will have to come down to see what we have in store for you).
To join us on the day please fill out the entry form above BEFORE race day (17th February) so we can allocate you a race time. If you have a preference for what time you wish to race then please let us know as soon as possible so we can accomodate your preference. The races will run between 9am and 1pm and take approximately 10 minutes.
