All Western International University (West) faculty positions are for adjunct faculty -- qualified part-time professionals with a desire to share their practitioner experience. West seeks the rare individual who has a proven track record in business or industry and can teach adult learners. The minimum qualifications for individuals seeking adjunct faculty positions at West are:
Master degree in an applicable area of study.
A master degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the specific area or 5+ years work experience in specific field.
Doctoral degree in an applicable area of study.
A doctoral degree in a related field and professional certification.
A doctoral degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 credit hours in the specific area or 5+ years work experience in specific field.
All doctoral work completed with the exception of dissertation in related field with a minimum of 18 credit hours in the specific area or 5+ years work experience in specific field.
A master degree in the specific field and appropriate professional certification and 5+ years of work experience.
All degrees must be granted from a regionally accredited institution.
