During the Workshop, participants will engage with one another and with faculty about a current research project. The project you propose could be at various levels of completion:a grant proposal, a dissertation proposal or prospectus, a draft article or chapter of a book or dissertation. The project you present may be the one you described above, or may be a new project. If admitted, by November 15, 2012, you will be asked to submit a working draft of a project for presentation in one of the following
forms:
1)
A scholarly project proposal, dissertation prospectus or grant application: 2000 to 4000 words
2)
A draft article or book or dissertation chapter: 6000 to 10,000 words.
Although we understand that your work will likely develop between now and January, we would like some indication now of what you think you will present. Below, please provide a brief description of that project in no more than 250 words, including the following information:

A tentative title
2)
Type of project (proposal, article, etc.)
3)
Your principal research question and basic argument
4)
Your theoretical approach and/or method
